K aren F. Tate,
MSN, ARNP-C, CUNP
Karen Tate was born and raised in West Virginia. She attended Salem International University where she
earned her associate of Science Degree in Nursing. She moved to the Orlando area in 1989 and received
her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing form Florida Southern College and a Master of Science Degree
as a Nurse Practitioner for the University of Central Florida.
Karen is certified by the ANCC as a Family Nurse Practitioner and CBUNA as a Urology Nurse Practitioner.
Memberships include the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Society of Urologic Nurses, Florida
Urological Society, Central Florida Nurse Practitioner Council, and Sigma Theta Tau. She practiced family
medicine before joining Winter Park Urology Associates in 2002.
Karen is married and has two sons. She likes to spend her time off in the mountains. She especially
enjoys horseback riding, hiking, cooking, and shopping. |
